
1st day – Colombo/Mt.Lavinia
Arrival day .pick you up from the Air port go to Colombo.Colombo is the capital of SriLanka.Overnight at Renuka hotel or Berrjaya Mt.Royal Beach Hotel.Or you can stay in Negambo.(hotels are mentioned below)
2nd day – Polonnaruwa
After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa.Polonnaruwa is the capital of SriLanka from 11th to 13th century A.D.It is comprised of many ancient buildings, mainly brick structures include the Inner city area, with two palace complexes of two different kings, and irrigation work. Inner and outer city walls a number of Monastic complexes with stupes,Image houses,Dwelling cells of monks,Refectories,Assembly Halls,Bathing Ponds etc.Overnight at Giritale Hotel.
3rd day – Leaving Giritale to Sigiriya
Sigiriya-visit Rock Fortress which is one of the most important archaeological sites.The present remains consists of a city complex, with ramparts ,moats and gateways,on place on top of a 200 meter rock,ancient Royal garden,a lion staircase well known paintings of the heavenly maidens(The Sigiriya Frescos) and the mirror wall.The parks are the oldest surviving Landscaped garden in Asia during the King Kashayapa.Overnight at Sigiriya hotel
4th day – Sigiriya
Visit Anuradhapura and back to Sigiriya. Anuradhapura-The ancient capital & the centure of the Island’s Buddhist civilization. Among many places here are a host of the Island’s oldest Buddhist shrines with stone carvings and sculpture. It is also adorn with pleasure garden ,handsome terraced baths and ponds, and superb ancient irrigation system of reservoirs and cannels still in use more than twenty centuries. 5,6,7th days – Kandy
Proceed to Kandy and city tour with sightseeing..Kandy was the last capital of SriLanka which fell to the British in 1815. Kandy is Situated 1600 feet above sea level surrounded by mountains,encircled by Mahaweli river(the longest river in SriLanka).Kandy is famous for its temple of tooth one of the most historic Buddhist temple in the world.which house the tooth relic of Lord Buddha,The man make Lake,the biggest botanical garden in SriLanka,the elephant bath, elephants rides, Kandy dancers and other places interest.Visit Pinnawala elephant orphange.Three nights at Thilanka hotel.
